Additional information about the equipment delivered to the Hospitallers

The Infusiomat is important in field hospitals because it allows for very precise dosing of medication. This is particularly important when administering powerful drugs such as painkillers or heart medication, where even a slight overdose can be dangerous.

The infusion pump offers a level of control that is simply impossible to achieve with traditional manual administration of drugs, especially on the front line.

Since March 2025, an Infusiomat purchased by us has been in use and is helping to save lives.

We have also purchased four batteries for the Saros oxygen concentrators.

The Saros tactical oxygen concentrator is small and replaces oxygen cylinders and large oxygen generators. It is used in field hospitals, during the evacuation of the wounded, on the street and on the battlefield.

Saros is very easy to use: it produces 3,000 millilitres of oxygen per minute and all you have to do is decide how to administer the oxygen to the injured. There are two modes: litre per minute flow mode and pulse mode, in which oxygen is administered in measured doses with each breath.

This Saros oxygen concentrator is not charged with oxygen or other chemical compounds. It works through the physical action of the filter and its batteries. It is particularly practical because it produces concentrated oxygen from the air. The most worn part is the 9-volt battery. Depending on the intensity of use, it lasts between 7 and 12 months.

To successfully evacuate seriously injured people from the battlefield, a supply of oxygen is vital. It increases the chances of survival, helps with breathing difficulties and supports the functioning of all organs.
